A police officer was stripped and tied to a post after allegedly cursing and creating a commotion involving employees of an energy company in the city of Para in Brazil.

According to authorities, the incident began when the company’s truck broke down in the middle of the road, blocking the path of the officer’s vehicle.

The employees immediately attempted to push the truck to the side to make way, but despite their efforts, the officer was unsatisfied with the space and became increasingly aggressive.

Witnesses reported that the officer began shouting and cursing at the workers, escalating the situation.

His actions provoked the crowd, who eventually overpowered him, stripped him of his clothes, and tied him to a post.

They later called the authorities to report the incident.

Further investigation revealed that the officer was on sick leave and not on active duty at the time of the incident.

He was subsequently arrested and charged with misconduct and abuse of authority.

The case remains under investigation as the officer remains in custody.
