A two-year-old child remains confined in the hospital after being injured when a 10-wheeler truck crashed into two roadside houses along the Maharlika Highway in Sitio Javier, Barangay Daguit, Labo, Camarines Norte.
The truck, which was carrying grocery items from Santa Rosa, Laguna and headed for Daet, Camarines Norte, lost control and rammed into the houses.
The child was inside one of the houses when the accident occurred.
The truck driver and his helper were unharmed. Authorities are still investigating the incident in preparation for possible charges.
