Nagpanindugan si National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Arsenio Balisacan nga indi lang China ang potensyal nga investor sang Pilipinas para sa proyekto sa imprastraktura kundi may iban pa man nga mga pungsod.
Sabat ini ni Balisacan sa pahayag ni former presidential spokesman Harry Roque nga ang isyu sa West Philippine Sea kag ang tensyon sa tunga sang Pilipinas kag sa China ang posible nga rason nga maremalaso ang mga infrastructure projects sa idalom sang Belt and Road Initiative sang China.
Pahayag pa ni Balisacan, pananglitan maka-invest man ang Japan ukon Korea sa PIlipinas, iga-konsiderar man ini bangud bukas ang Pilipinas sa iban nga posible kuhaan sang pondo para sa sini nga mga proyekto.
“China is not the only source of investment and potential funders. Of course, we would want China to be part of all our investment and infrastructure programs, but we open the opportunities to anyone who would like to come in,” pahayag sang NEDA chief.
Kun makit-an man suno sa iya nga wala na sang padulungan ang mga proyekto nga una na nga gin-promisahan sang China nga pondohan, posible nga buksan man ini sa iban nga mga interesado nga partido ukon pungsod.
“So if we see those projects, those China-funded or projects that are promised by China to be funded, [not pushing through] then we should open it up to other parties because we can’t wait. Those infrastructure programs or projects are needed, very critical for our economic operability,” dugang pa sini.
Una na nga ginpahayag ni Roque nga as of 2016, duha gid lamang sa 75 ka proyekto ang nahuman apisar nangin maayo ang relasyon sang China kag Pilipinas sa idalom sang administrasyon ni former President Rodrigo Duterte.
