Get ready for a rainy Christmas!

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecasts a wet Christmas Day for parts of Luzon and Eastern Visayas, as a shear line brings scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms across several regions.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, PAGASA reported that Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Marinduque, Romblon, and parts of Mindoro will experience cloudy skies with occasional rain. Cagayan Valley and the Cordillera Administrative Region will see rain brought by the Northeast Monsoon, or Amihan.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country is expected to have partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to easterly winds.

PAGASA is also monitoring Tropical Cyclone Pabuk, located 335 km west of Kalayaan, Palawan, though it remains outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

The sun will set at 5:34 p.m. on December 25.
