United States President Donald Trump has issued a warning that the U.S. may cease its involvement in facilitating the ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.
The threat comes as both nations continue to show no signs of compromise. President Trump stressed that he does not want to witness another round of violence, which is why he hopes the ceasefire deal will be finalized as soon as possible.
It can be recalled that Russia launched a full-scale attack on Ukraine in 2022, sparking international condemnation and prompting several countries to step in and mediate the conflict.
Multiple meetings have already been held between the two sides to discuss a potential peace deal. However, progress has been hindered by recurring disagreements and unresolved issues.
