Everglades, Florida – U.S. President Donald Trump has proudly unveiled a newly constructed migrant detention facility located in the Everglades region of Florida.

The facility, built on the former 11,000-foot runway of the Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport, has been converted into a temporary tent city. It is designed to hold undocumented migrants who are apprehended by U.S. authorities before they are deported to their home countries.

President Trump personally visited the site and expressed confidence in its role in the administration’s continued efforts to strengthen immigration enforcement. The facility is expected to accommodate up to 5,000 migrants while they await deportation.

The move has drawn both support and criticism amid the ongoing national debate over immigration policy and border control.
