Senado, nagalaum nga pagasundon sang Kamara ang plano nga P2-B budget cut

Nagalaum ang Senado nga pagasundon sang House of Representatives ang ginaduso nga pagbuhin sang P2 bilyon sa 2027 budget, suno kay Senator Panfilo Lacson.

Ini bangud sa limitado nga fiscal space para sa gin-alokar nga P7.7 bilyon sa National Expenditure Program (NEP).

“Nagkasundo kami nina Senate President [Sherwin Gatchalian] the other day, ako being the chairman of the committee on accounts, we will reduce yung Senate budget by about 2 billion pesos from the NEP, just to set the example or set the trend for the House to follow because and House nagdadag sila ng P5 billion,” suno kay Lacson.

Nahibaluan nga gin-aprubahan na sang chamber’s finance subcommittee ang proposed budget sang Senado.
