Paagi sa House Resolution No. 1292 nga gin-file ni Quezon City 5th District Representative Alfred Vargas, ginahingyo ang House Committee on Basic Education and Culture nga ginapamunuan ni Pasig City lone District Representative Roman Romulo agud busision ang amo nga isyu.
Suno kay Vargas, ang pagdamo sang sala sa learning modules ang nagapakanubo sa dekalidad nga edukasyon kag dapat nga tutakan sang DepEd.
“The DepEd is responsible for maintaining the quality of education in terms of reviewing the content and language of learning materials, including SLMs (self-learning materials). The proliferation of such erroneous learning materials undermines the quality education and welfare of Filipino students and must be investigated and addressed immediately,” pahayag sang mamalidha.

Sa 34 ka mga reported nga sala, isa ang nagikan sa DepEd Central Office, 18 ang halin sa mga modules nga ginhimo sang regional kag division officers, kag 15 ang wala pa matumod kun sa diin naghalin apang posible nga halin sa mga pribado nga mga eskwelahan.
“We support the Department of Education in its continuous efforts to make learning resources in schools undergo quality assurance and maintain the quality of education for all,” dugang pa sang mamalidha.
Nagalaum ang natungdan nga masabat sa gilayon sang Committee on Basic Education and Culture ang amo nga hingyo sang imbestigasyon.
“It is within the jurisdiction of the Committee on Basic Education and Culture to investigate all matters directly and principal relating to pre-school, elementary, and secondary education , as well as teachers’ and students’ welfare,” suno pa kay Vargas.
