Pormal na nga nagpungko si Sen. Juan Edgardo ‘Sonny’ Angara bilang secretary sang Department of Education (DepEd).
Sa ginpatigayon nga turnover ceremony sa DepEd Complex sa Pasig City, ginpasa ni Vice President Sara Duterte ang DepEd Seal kag Flag kay Angara nga nagamarka sa transition sa pagpamuno sa ahensya.
Sa iya inaugural speech, nagpasalamat man si Angara kag nagpasalig nga mas paayuhon pa sini ang sistema sang edukasyon sa pungsod.
“It is a great honor that President Marcos has bestowed upon me to serve as Secretary of the Department of Education. I humbly accept this position, in response to the trust and challenge given by our President to further enhance programs that promote high-quality education for our students.”
Ginkilala man ni Angara ang iya predecessor kag mga outgoing DepEd officials sa ila dedikasyon kag serbisyo.
“I would like to recognize Vice President Sara Z. Duterte and the outgoing officials. For the past two years, you were there for our students and teachers to lean on during challenging times. We will build from what you have already started,” he said in addressing his predecessor.”
