Temporaryo nga iga-suspend sang Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) ang operasyon sang Iloilo International Airport subong nga Myerkules halin 2:00 PM tubtob 5:30 PM.
Para ini sa patigayunon nga full-scale search and rescue emergency exercise sa nasambit nga paluparan nga pagapangunahan sang CAAP – Area Center VI.
“Please be advised that this is a simulated exercise and there is no cause for alarm.”
Pinaagi sa nasambit nga aktibidad, hibaluon kun ano ka preparado ang airport personnel, response teams, partner agencies, test coordination, communication, kag emergency response procedures.
Kabahin man sa ma-obserbaran sang publiko sa nasambit nga simulated exercise amo ang presensya sang ambulansya, fire trucks, iban pa nga response vehicles, kag personnel sang magapartisipar nga mga ahensya.
“Airport operations will be temporarily suspended during the said period to allow for the safe and effective conduct of the excercise.”
Suno sa CAAP, nagkoordinar na sila sa mga airlines kag nakahatag sang prior notice kaangot sa aktibidad.
Para naman sa mga pasahero nga maapektuhan ang byahe sa nasambit nga paluparan, nagpanugyan ang CAAP nga magkoordinar direkta sa airlines nga responsable sa ila nga byahe.
