𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗔, 𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗢 – Two motorcycle drivers were killed after a collision along the road in Barangay Salcedo, Sara, Iloilo.
According to initial reports, a Kawasaki Bajaj motorcycle, with two passengers, was traveling from Sara to Concepcion, Iloilo, while a Suzuki Raider was headed in the opposite direction, from Concepcion to Sara.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Police Corporal Joven Bajon, an investigator from the Sara Municipal Police Station, confirmed that the two motorcycles collided head-on. The driver of the Suzuki Raider was reportedly speeding and may have lost control, veering into the lane of the Kawasaki Bajaj.
The impact of the crash caused fatal head injuries to both motorcycle drivers, while the passengers on the Kawasaki Bajaj sustained various injuries to their bodies.
Currently, the two passengers of the Bajaj motorcycle are receiving medical treatment at the West Visayas State University Medical Center. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
