President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has granted Executive Clemency to former Iloilo City Mayor Jed Mabilog.
This comes after Mabilog returned to the Philippines in September 2024 from the United States.
Upon his return, he immediately proceeded to the Sandiganbayan, where he posted a P90,000 bail for temporary freedom.
The case is related to an alleged graft charge concerning a vehicle towing contract signed in 2015, which is at the center of the investigation against the former official.
According to reports, a Thanksgiving Mass will be held at 10:00 AM today, January 27, at the Mabilog compound.
The former mayor’s camp has invited everyone to join in the mass of thanksgiving.
