SAN ENRIQUE, ILOILO – Authorities are pursuing three suspects who allegedly held up a fish vendor in Barangay Camiri, San Enrique, Iloilo.

The victim, identified as 42-year-old Angelyn Pabilona of Barangay Cabugao Viejo, San Enrique, was traveling with her assistants, Mark Serbesa and John Biona, when the incident occurred.

According to Police Lieutenant Christy Val Dalde, chief of the San Enrique Municipal Police Station, the victims were on their way from Passi City aboard a tricycle when the suspects suddenly blocked their path.

The assailants reportedly crashed into the victims’ vehicle and threatened them with a firearm and a machete before fleeing with P159,000 in cash.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to track down the suspects.
