Ang ambassador sang France sa Holy See nga si Florence Mangin amo ang nag-presentar sang title of officer sang Legion of Honor kay Tagle bilang pagkilala sa iya nga social projects kag adobokasiya.
Si Tagle ang nagapungko subong nga Pro-Prefect for the Section of Evangelization of Dicastery for Evangelization (ukon ang kilala anay nga Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples).
Lakip sa namensyonar sang ambassador amo ang programa ni Tagle para sa mga biktima sang pagpang-abuso kag drug addiction amo man ang iya nga commitment sa migrants kag mga biktima sang kalamidad.

“It is this journey, these commitments of yours, these qualities of soul and heart that the French Republic wishes to salute and honor by elevating you to the rank of Officer of the Legion of Honour. You were noticed for your closeness to the humblest of people and to young people,” pahayag sang ambassador. “In Rome, you don’t forget your country and even less those who suffer there,” kabahin sang speech ni Mangin.

Ang Legion of Honor distinction amo ang pinakamataas nga French order of merit. Gin-establisar ini ni First Consul Napoleon Bonaparte sang 1802 kag ginahatag sa mga indibidwal nga may talalupangdon nga kontribusyon sa sosyudad.#
