𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 – A retired Philippine Coast Guard member was arrested after shooting and killing a barber in Zone-6, Barangay Calumpang, Molo, Iloilo City.

The suspect, Noel Amboy, 66, married, and the victim, Bryan Gabuelo, 42, married, were both residents of the area.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Police Captain Ryan Christ Inot, chief of the Molo Police Station, stated that both the suspect and the victim were intoxicated when the incident occurred.

According to Inot, while the suspect was drinking at his home, the victim knocked on his gate to ask for a drink. When the gate was opened, the victim allegedly attempted to attack the suspect.

The suspect then shot the victim in the head and body with a .45 caliber firearm, which led to his death.

The suspect voluntarily surrendered to the police and handed over his firearm and an empty 45
caliber shell.

He is currently in custody at the Molo Police Station, where he will face charges for violating the gun ban under COMELEC Resolution No. 11067.
