The Philippines dominates the history of the World Cup of Pool with the most victories!

This comes after the triumph of Johann Chua and James Aranas, who secured the fourth World Cup of Pool crown for the country following their 11-7 win against Joshua Filler and Moritz Neuhausen of Germany in the finale held in Lugo, Spain.

They become the third Filipino pair to reign supreme in the annual nine-ball tournament for doubles teams. The previous two pairs were the tandem of Efren “Bata” Reyes and Francisco “Django” Bustamante, as well as Dennis Orcollo and Lee Vann Corteza.

Reyes and Bustamante claimed victory twice, in 2006 and 2009, while Orcollo and Corteza triumphed in 2013.

The Philippines now stands higher than the three-time champion China and the two-time winner Germany.
