𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 – The newly crowned Mr. and Ms. West Visayas State University (WVSU) 2025, Hyle David Daduya and Michelle Anne Juanitas, have shared the happiness and fulfillment they feel after clinching the prestigious titles, both hailing from the College of Nursing.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Michelle Anne, a 3rd-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing student from Barbaza, Antique, expressed her long-time passion for pageantry. Her recent win follows her previous success as the Lin-ay Kang Antique 2023 titleholder.

Michelle Anne revealed that she had been planning to join the Ms. WVSU pageant for a long time, and after her hard work and dedication, her dream of winning the crown came true. Beyond extracurricular activities, she is committed to her studies, aspiring to become a Registered Nurse.

Meanwhile, Hyle David, a 4th-year BS Nursing student from Tagbak, Jaro, Iloilo City, called winning the title of Mr. WVSU 2025 one of the happiest moments of his life. Hyle acknowledged the pressure of being part of the third consecutive batch from their college to win the pageant.

He also shared that his older brother, Hans Gabriel Daduya, who was crowned Mr. Central Philippine University (CPU) 2024, inspired him to join the pageant. Hans Gabriel, the first in their family to win a pageant crown, expressed pride in his younger brother’s achievement.

In a separate interview, Hans Gabriel, now a software engineer and web developer, humbly shared that he had no previous pageant experience before joining Mr. CPU 2024, but he was grateful for the support from his family and friends, which helped him succeed. He also expressed pride in his younger brother Hyle, who followed in his footsteps in pageantry.

The Daduya siblings have become an inspiring duo in the world of pageantry, showing that hard work, passion, and family support can lead to great achievements. Their journey continues to motivate others to pursue their dreams, both in pageantry and beyond.
