𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗡, 𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗢 – A 59-year-old laborer known for his late-night walks was found dead near the shoreline of Barangay Poblacion East, Oton, Iloilo.
The victim, identified as Marcelino Todorejos Sr., was a resident of Barangay Poblacion South, Oton.
His daughter, Mary Jane Todorejos, shared in an interview with Bombo Radyo that she was with her father the previous day while he was collecting scrap along C1 Road. Afterward, they ate batchoy and halo-halo together.
Mary Jane said her father left ahead of her to go home but stopped by a relative’s house.
She was unaware of where he went after that but was confident he would return, as he usually came home in the early morning hours.
Today, they had planned to go out and collect scrap again, but their plans were tragically cut short when her mother informed her that Marcelino had been found dead.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
