Nagpadala sang sulat si Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero kay Speaker Martin Romualdez tuhoy sa kanselasyon sang presentation sang articles of impeachment batok kay Vice President Sara Duterte nga inisyal nga gintalana subong nga adlaw.
Yari ang unod sang sulat ni Escudero:
“In view of the referral earlier today of the verified impeachment complaint against Vice-President Sara Zimmerman Duterte to the Senate, sitting as an impeachment court, and with the issuance of the writ of summons to the Vice-President, the putative presentation of the Articles of Impeachment which was scheduled for June 11, 2025 has been rendered moot and is thereby cancelled.”
