Yara man mangin sanday anay Philippine National Police chief Oscar Albayalde kag former Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra.
Apang wala sanday anay anay President Rodrigo Duterte kag Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa nga isa man anay ka PNP chief.
“We would like to maintain that courtesy with the sitting senator and also with the former president. So, palagay ko tama na yung imbitahan namin yung talagang very much involved in this. I think they can shed light to some of the inquiries we’re gonna have,” pahayag pa ni Abante.
“Why are we conducting an inquiry into the deaths of alleged drug addicts or drug dealers? First, we must begin with the principle that each life is valuable and that each life lost is a profound tragedy,” suno pa kay Abante.
“Secondly, we must point out that those who lost their lives, like every Filipino, are protected by the rights granted by the Constitution, one of which is due process,” dugang pa sini.
They were not convicted, they were silenced. They were denied their rights. It is our responsibility to the victims and their families to seek the truth.”
