Isa ini ka maathag nga pagbalewala sa otoridad sang Kongreso suno kay Chua kag naka-preparar na sila sang orders para pang-arestuhon sila kun indi pa gid sila magsipot subong nga Lunes.
“These absences reflect a blatant disregard for the authority of Congress and are unacceptable. If they fail to appear again, we are prepared to issue orders for their arrest,” suno sa panel chair.
“The committee has been more than fair in giving these officials ample opportunities to cooperate. If they fail to appear this time, they leave us no choice but to impose heavier penalties, including contempt and potential arrest and detention,” dugang sini.
Ginpahayag ni Chua nga sanday Administrative and Financial Services Director Rosalynne Sanchez kag OVP Chief Accountant Julieta Villadelrey pa lamang ang nagkumpirma sang ila attendance sa hearing.
Ang House panel amo ang naga-imbestigar sa ginaalegar paggamit sang P612.5 million sa confidential funds sa OVP kag sa Department of Education (DepEd) sa idalom sang liderato ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
