The prosecution in the crimes against humanity case against former President Rodrigo Duterte is set to present thousands of pages of evidence, along with nearly 16 hours of recordings, before the International Criminal Court (ICC), according to ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan.
Khan stated that the investigation has yielded several documentary materials, which are currently undergoing legal review before being formally submitted in court.
The prosecution is still in the process of determining the total number of written and non-written documentary evidence to be presented during the confirmation hearing.
It can be recalled that the former president was arrested on March 11 upon his return from Hong Kong and was brought to the ICC in connection with his bloody campaign against illegal drugs.
