A woman from Tagum City, Davao del Norte, was shocked to discover a venomous cobra in their toilet on Thursday, December 12.

Maven Fheb Clarabal shared that she initially thought she was seeing something ordinary when she opened the bathroom door.

She first noticed the cobra on Thursday but couldn’t deal with it as her husband was not home.

The following day, the snake reappeared, prompting her to take photos and videos.

The cobra quickly slithered back into the toilet before she could remove it.

The shocking discovery has left Clarabal traumatized and fearful for her children’s safety.

The thought of using the toilet now causes her extreme anxiety.

According to wildlife experts, the snake is identified as a Southern Philippine Cobra (Naja samarensis), a highly venomous species of spitting cobra native to Visayas and Mindanao.
