Suno kay DILG spokesman Jonathan Malaya, luyag sang ahensya nga ma-“disincentivize” ang unvaccinated nga mga benepisyaryo sang amo nga programa sang gobyerno.
Ginpahayag ni Malaya nga nag-propose si Interior Secretary Eduardo Año sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) nga i-implementar ang “no vaccine, no subsidy” policy matapos nabaton ang reports halin sa mga local chief executives nga madamo sa mga 4Ps beneficiaries ang nagapamalibad gihapon sa COVID-19 vaccines.
“The 4Ps is called a conditional transfer because before you can get your regular subsidy from the government, you have to meet certain conditions. We will just add another condition which is vaccination.”
“If they will not get vaccinated, they will not receive any 4Ps subsidy from the government,” suno pa kay Malaya.
