Gin-appoint ni Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. si Senator Atty. Juan Edgardo ‘Sonny’ Angara bilang bag-o nga Secretary sang Department of Education (DEPED).
Si Angara amo ang magabulos kay Vice President Sara Duterte nga nag-resign sa pwesto sang Hunyo 19, apang mangin epektibo ini sa Hulyo 19.
Ang appointment ni Angara ang ginkumpirma mismo ni Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Cheloy Garafil.
“President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has announced that he is set to appoint Senator Juan Edgardo ‘Sonny’ Angara as the new secretary of the Department of Education (DepEd), replacing Vice President Sara Duterte who resigned last June 19, 2024, effective July 19, 2024,” pahayag sang PCO.
Ang termino ni Angara ang magatakop sa 2025.
