In a dramatic turn of events this New Year, the top 1 most wanted person in San Enrique, Iloilo, has been nabbed!
The individual arrested was identified as Nimrod B. Pamonag, 39 years old, married, and a resident of Barangay Braulan, San Enrique, Iloilo.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, PLt. Christy Val Dalde, Officer-in-Charge of San Enrique Municipal Police Station, explained that the suspect was involved in a strafing incident in Barangay Braulan, San Enrique, in 2024, where the victims were a family riding in a van. Pamonag was identified as the primary suspect.
He was initially jailed but posted bail. However, after his release, he failed to attend his court hearings and fled to Manila.
Information was received by authorities that Pamonag planned to return to San Enrique to celebrate the New Year, which led to his arrest.
Currently, he is in the custody of the San Enrique Municipal Police Station.
