Tensions between Iran and Israel continue to escalate as Iran launched a series of missile strikes targeting various parts of Israel, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The strikes resulted in several explosions across key areas.

According to Iranian state sources, the missile barrage was a direct response to Israel’s recent attack on Iranian soil, which killed several high-ranking Iranian military officials. Among those reportedly killed were General Hossein Salami, commander-in-chief of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, and Major General Mohammad Bagheri, a top military officer.

Iranian officials claimed that the recent missile attacks successfully hit multiple Israeli military sites. However, Israel’s sophisticated Iron Dome defense system intercepted a number of rockets, minimizing further damage and potential casualties.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz condemned Iran’s actions, accusing Tehran of deliberately targeting civilians and escalating the conflict further. “This is an unacceptable act of aggression that endangers innocent lives,” Katz said in a statement.

The ongoing conflict has drawn international concern, with fears of a broader regional war intensifying. Israel has previously accused Iran of secretly advancing its nuclear program—an allegation Tehran has repeatedly denied.

The situation remains volatile as both nations brace for possible further escalations in the coming days.
