The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has officially confirmed the transfer of controversial Russian video content creator Vitaly Zdorovetskiy to the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), following his recent arrest and detention.

According to Immigration Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado, the transfer was carried out recently as Zdorovetskiy continues to face multiple charges stemming from a controversial incident in April. The Russian vlogger was arrested after a public disturbance during the filming of one of his video contents, which reportedly offended and disrespected several Filipino individuals.

Authorities have since denied Zdorovetskiy’s request for bail, emphasizing that he will remain in custody until the resolution of his legal cases.

The Bureau of Immigration also stressed that there will be no special treatment for Zdorovetskiy or any other foreign nationals who violate Philippine laws. Deportation proceedings have not yet been enforced, pending the outcome of the charges filed against him.

Zdorovetskiy, known for his provocative prank videos online, has not yet issued a public statement regarding his arrest or the ongoing legal process.
