Following the recommendation of our Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and the results of the Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (RDANA), the Sangguniang Bayan of Pototan has officially declared our municipality under a State of Calamity due to the devastating impact of the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) brought about by Tropical Storms Emong and Dante.
This declaration allows us to mobilize the necessary resources for emergency response, relief operations, and recovery measures for our affected communities.
As your Municipal Mayor, I assure you that your local government is fully committed to prioritizing the welfare and safety of every Pototanon. We are working closely with concerned agencies to provide urgent assistance and long-term recovery support.
