Bilang AFP chief of staff, nagpatuman si Centino sang apat ka major thrusts lakip na ang operational efficiency, optimal use of resources, advancement of professionalism and meritocracy within the organization, kag capability development.
Lakip sa iya nauna nga assignments amo ang Commander sang 4th Infantry Division, Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, kag Commander sang 401st Infantry Brigade.
