ICI, ginagamit ni Marcos para sa iya political propaganda —Pulong Duterte

Gintawag ni Davao City First District Rep. Paolo Duterte ang Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) bilang kasangkapan ni President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. para sa “political propaganda.”

Kabahin ini sang sulat sang kongresista kay ICI Chair Andres Reyes Jr. sang ginplastar sini ang iya nga mga rason kun ngaa indi siya magbaton sang imbitasyon sang panel nga magtambong sa hearing kaangot sa imbestigasyon sa mga iregularidad sa flood control projects.

Suno kay Duterte, ginagamit ni Marcos ang ICI agud nga paluyahon ukon gub-on ang pangalan ni Vice President Sara Duterte, former President Rodrigo Duterte, kag ila bilog nga pamilya.

“It is a continuing political propaganda and harassment against our family with a view to the 2028 Presidential, national and local elections,” suno sa mamalidha.

“It cannot be ignored. They are exposés that need investigating. To use me and my sister VP Sara to divert the truth, passing the blame and mislead the Filipino people is highly unacceptable and deplorable,” pahayag pa sini.

Matandaan nga gin-akusaran ni Co sanday Marcos kag pakaisa sini nga si former House Speaker Martin Romualdez nga nagabaton sang kuwarta halin sa budget insertions sa 2025 national budget.

“I feel that ICI must immediately investigate President Marcos Jr., his family and ex-Speaker Romualdez, forthwith, most especially flood control and other infrastructure projects in Regions I and VIII from 2022 to 2025, and incidentally all projects prior thereto from 2000 to 2025,” suno pa kay Duterte.

Ginpahayag man ni Rep. Duterte nga wala sang gahum ang panel nga ipatawag siya bilang mamalidha.

“I am a sitting member of Congress. Considering that ICI is a creation of President Marcos, Jr. per E.O. No. 94, the ICI appears without power nor jurisdiction over me,” kabahin sang iya statement.

Gintawag man sini nga “vague and ambiguous” ang request sang ICI nga mag-atubang siya sa ila.
