Kumpyansa si Ombudsman Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla nga magabalik sa Pilipinas sanday Senator Loren Legarda kag anak sini nga si Rep. Leandro Leviste.
“Sa tingin mo ba tatakasan talaga nila? I don’t think tatakas sila. Babalik ‘yan,” suno kay Remulla.
Dugang sini sa press briefing subong nga hapon: “Baka gusto nila umuwi nang nakaposas ‘pag hindi sila bumalik.”
Ini matapos makumpirma sang Bureau of Immigration nga nagbiya sa Pilipinas sanday Leviste kag Legarda sang Agosto 2 paagi sa separado nga flights.
“The office confirms the departure of [Senator] Loren Legarda and [Representative] Leandro Leviste in separate flights last August 2. Both had no derogatory records at the time of departure,” suno naman kay BI spokesperson Dana Sandoval.
Natabo ang byahe apat ka adlaw antes gin-subpoena si Leviste sang NBI para mag-atubang sa imbestigasyon sa alegasyon nga may plano nga pag-frame kay Executive Secretary Ralph Recto gamit ang ginapahayag nga indi matuod nga sexual abuse kag drug allegations.
Nagbiyahe man sanday Leviste kag Legarda pila lang ka adlaw matapos gin-anunsyo sang Ombudsman ang plunder kag graft complaints batok sa ila.
“All indicators point to the fact that they had no intention to fulfill contracts that they had garnered. The terminated contracts resulted in more than ₱10.44 billion in unpaid financial obligations to the government,” suno anay sa Ombudsman.
